Kat Lybaert is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Brussels office and a core member of the firm’s Leadership Advisory Services. She pairs broad leadership advisory experience with an understanding of multicultural realities in her work with both EMEA and North American clients.
With over a decade of experience in executive search and leadership consulting, Kat leads engagements focused on internal development, CEO and C-suite succession and assessment for selection, as well as global high-potential development programs and executive coaching. She often advises global organizations on the leadership necessary to scale their operations and realize their strategic potential, and has extensive experience working with clients across industries, including automotive, utilities, financial services, healthcare and agriculture — in particular, companies that are rapidly expanding and require support with high-potential talent development and organizational design.

- Due to her deep assessment and development expertise, in her time at Spencer Stuart, Kat has often been requested to work alongside C-suite leaders to build and strengthen their leadership teams, including through design and delivery of high-potential programs.
- As regional people and business manager for Leadership Advisory in North America, Kat led a team of early- to mid-career employees and oversaw the entire talent cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management.
- For one Spencer Stuart client in the North American life sciences market, Kat engaged in a global high-potential development program for female leaders, working closely with the client to strengthen the female talent pipeline toward general management roles.
Kat is a graduate from the LUCA School of Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in music teaching. She also earned a Master of Science in social and cultural anthropology from the University of Leuven.
