Building on more than 20 years of experience leading consumer companies, Jerry Noonan leads searches at the board, CEO and president level across the consumer sector. He is a member of Spencer Stuart‘s global Consumer Practice, which he formerly led, as well as a member of the Board and CEO practices. He also directs a broad range of leadership advisory relationships with multinational and other clients, in areas including CEO/C-suite succession planning, merger integration, culture transformation and team effectiveness. He previously served as the chief client officer for Spencer Stuart, a global leadership team role focused on client strategy and the firm’s go-to-market activity.

Broad consumer experience

  • Jerry began his career at PepsiCo, where he worked in marketing at both Frito-Lay and the Pepsi-Cola Company. He moved on to officer-level marketing and general management positions with Nabisco and Polaroid Corporation. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Jerry was the chief marketing officer at 1-800-Flowers.com.
  • Jerry served as managing partner of the firm’s Boston office for six years and then led the global Consumer Practice for six years. He has been recognized by the firm on several occasions for the quality of his work on behalf of the firm’s clients.
  • Jerry is the former vice-chairman of the World Travel & Tourism Council, where he led the talent committee and served as a member of the board of directors.

Jerry earned his B.S. in marketing and communications from Babson College. For many years, he served as Trustee and Chair of the Governance Committee of the college. Jerry is the 2016 recipient of the Cruickshank Alumni Leadership Award given annually to one distinguished alumni of the college. He also serves as a Board Trustee for Boston’s Boch Center, which presents the diversified performing arts to the community and brings arts education to our under-served youth.
