A strategic business leader with 20+ years of experience in investment banking, in-house strategy and M&A and strategic communications roles, Sunni is a trusted advisor to boards and senior leaders on topics including strategy, stakeholders and sustainability.
Trusted client partner with broad strategy and finance expertise
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Sunni served as a non-executive director on the board of Britvic plc, a UK-listed soft drinks company, and was a partner at Tulchan Communications, a strategic financial and corporate communications advisory firm. At Tulchan she focused on advising consumer, retail and industrial clients and established and led Tulchan’s sustainability practice.
- Sunni gained valuable experience from her time as an executive in FTSE 100 businesses, including running corporate development at Rexam plc. She oversaw enterprise risk management and the company’s sale to Ball Corporation, and prior to that, led projects in the strategy and M&A team at BAE Systems.
- Sunni spent the first 16 years of her career in investment banking, including at Morgan Stanley where she was a Managing Director in UK M&A, advising on complex transactions across sectors including consumer, retail, real estate and airlines.
Sunni is a graduate of Dartmouth College, where she earned a B.A. in economics, and attended the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. She previously served as a trustee for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, merging charities to create Breast Cancer Now.
