Assessment and coaching of emerging and contender leaders

  • Sumit joined the firm via Kincentric, a Spencer Stuart company. He has partnered for over a decade with one of India’s leading engineering and construction companies to develop over 300 emerging senior leaders across diversified businesses.
  • He has led the succession planning agenda for several Indian clients in the financial services industry spanning insurance, AMCs, public and private sector banks and NBFCs, identifying critical roles and success profiles in order to earmark top-tier talent and create personalized development roadmaps.
  • Sumit has long consulted clients in broader advisory work, with a particular focus on institutionalization of scalable assessment and development solutions and assessment analytics across the APAC market.

As a speaker, Sumit has hosted several discussions on talent and leadership challenges and opportunities across India and Sri Lanka. He has a Bachelors in Mathematics from Hindu College, Delhi University and a Masters in Human Resources from SIBM-Pune, India. He is a certified practitioner of various psychometric instruments including Hogan, ADEPT-15 and SOVA, and an executive coach with an ICF certification from the Brain-Based Coaching program.
