Matt Robbins, a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Healthcare Practice in Chicago, has more than 25 years of healthcare management and strategy experience. Matt has extensive experience in the provider and payer spaces, large integrated delivery systems, children’s hospitals, strategy and business development.
Healthcare strategist
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Matt was chief strategy officer for Advocate Children’s Hospital. He also held a dual role as vice president of corporate development for the Advocate system.
- Matt held a variety of strategy and business development roles with Advocate, largely focused on strategy, growth, service line development, physician alignment and strategic partnerships. In addition, Matt had an operational role at Advocate and throughout his tenure sat on a number of corporate and business unit senior leadership teams.
- Earlier, Matt spent six years with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in strategy consulting, focused on working with payers on market positioning and growth.
- Matt started his career with BJC HealthCare in St. Louis.
Matt earned a Master of Health Services Administration from The University of Michigan School of Public Health, and his bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University.
