Margot Semkowski is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Toronto and Calgary offices and a member of the firm’s Industrial Practice, with a focus in the energy sector. She works closely with power and utility organizations, including regulated utilities and independent power producers. Additionally, she has extensive experience recruiting executives throughout the oil and gas industry spanning the energy value chain. Margot has extensive experience recruiting C-suite and senior executive leaders across finance, operations, human resources and non-executive directors, as well as advising clients on executive succession planning.

- Margot has extensive functional experience in the North American power and utilities industries and Canadian oil and gas sector, having completed over 300 board and executive search engagements.
- With more than a decade of executive and board search experience, Margot joined Spencer Stuart in 2014 as a research analyst and knowledge manager for the North American Energy Practice.
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, she worked at another global executive search firm, where she focused on recruiting senior-level leaders in both the public and private sectors.
Margot holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University.
