Liz Sheehan is based in Stamford and a member of the Healthcare and Private Equity practices, with over two decades of experience in business development, market research and strategy across a wide range of industries, including healthcare services, healthcare IT, private equity and venture capital, as well as high-growth organizations. She is a strategic and innovative healthcare thought leader with extensive business development, analytic and market research experience. Liz is passionate about value based care and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.

- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Liz amassed nearly two decades of experience in professional services and consulting within the healthcare industry. In her last role at OptumInsight (formerly Change Healthcare), she served as Director of Value Consulting where she advised healthcare clients on how to best use data, analytics and insights to deliver higher quality care at a lower cost.
- Previously, Liz was Vice President, Sales & Business Development at CVS Health (formerly Signify Partners), focused on initiation and expansion of value based programs in the BPCI (Bundled Payment for Care Improvement) market.
- Earlier in her career, Liz was Vice President, Private Equity & Venture Capital at Clarion Healthcare and Vice President at GLG (formerly Gerson Lehrman Group), where she served healthcare private equity and venture capital clients.
Liz earned a B.A. in history from Cornell University, an M.A. in post-baccalaureate pre-medicine from Mills College, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business. As a founding member of Cornell Women’s Athletics Network & Advisory Council, Liz supports female athletes in enhancing their job search with mentoring, interview and professional networking skills Liz also volunteers in youth lacrosse and with Achilles International, an organization that supports athletes with disabilities.
