As a member of Spencer Stuart’s Healthcare, Board and CEO, and Education & Social Impact practices for nearly two decades, Kathryn’s client scope has encompassed health systems, integrated delivery networks, academic health sciences institutions, research institutions, payers, healthcare-related associations and private equity. She has led over 750 projects for senior executives and board directors, including 200+ succession, search and advisory projects for CEOs, presidents, SVPs of health sciences, COOs, deans, chairs and other mission-critical C-suite executives.
Across all engagements, Kathryn remains highly committed to a thoughtful, fair and inclusive process, which often involves a search or succession committee. She knows firsthand that the U.S. healthcare system is being significantly challenged post-pandemic and therefore in a period of significant change and transformation for the foreseeable future. These changes require impactful leadership across the C-suite and in the boardroom, with the emergence of new leadership capabilities and the capacity for professional growth.
For six years, Kathryn led the firm’s Healthcare Services Practice, supporting the development, growth and success of her practice colleagues in achieving excellent outcomes and experiences for their clients, placements and candidates. She serves on the firm’s partner service committee, including as chair for five years. Due to the consistently high quality of her work, Kathryn is a two-time recipient of the Lou Rieger Quality Award, the firm’s annual award for the highest-quality client service.
