Darleen DeRosa, Ph.D. is a member of Spencer Stuart’s CEO Succession Services team and leads the firm’s advisory business for the Healthcare Practice. Darleen brings 20 years of experience in CEO succession, talent management, executive development and team effectiveness. Darleen works with leading companies on succession and talent development, and is a trusted advisor to CEOs, CHROs and boards. She coaches CEOs and senior executives to maximize their leadership impact.
Expertise in CEO succession, executive development, and team effectiveness
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Darleen co-founded and led OnPoint Consulting for 13 years.
- Earlier, she was an executive director in the advisory practice at another leading international search firm, where she advised boards and leadership teams.
- Darleen previously served as talent management practice leader for Right Management Consultants, responsible for the practice growth.
- In addition, Darleen was a clinical researcher at the Yale School of Medicine. She began her career at AT&T in human resources.
Darleen earned her B.A. in psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and her M.A. and Ph.D. in social/organizational psychology from Temple University. Darleen is co-author of Leading at a Distance (with Jim Citrin) and Virtual Success: A Practical Guide for Working and Leading from a Distance (with Richard Lepsinger), as well as other book chapters and journal articles on leadership.
