CHRO Xcelerator Fellowship

A tailored program for new CHROs

There has never been a more exciting or challenging time to be a new chief human resources officer. Given the complex issues dominating their agenda, new CHROs need to move quickly to prioritize the responsibilities and requirements of a C-suite executive, so they can rapidly contribute and deliver value.

Spencer Stuart’s CHRO Xcelerator Fellowship is a bespoke 12-month program helping new CHROs achieve world-class performance while expanding their peer network. The program combines in-person, immersive experiences, as well as virtual group gatherings to provide the foundation for long-term success.

The inaugural EMEA cohort will launch in autumn 2024 on the heels of the very successful launch of the first North American cohort in April 2024. New cohorts will continue to launch every six to nine months. To be added to our wait list, please contact us.

Today's Chief People Officers embody the potential to shape organisational cultures that drive game-changing business outcomes. However, they face this opportunity amidst the backdrop of global uncertainties and digital transformations. Their success and that of their business hinges on navigating these challenges with trusted peers alongside, bringing key learnings and successes to bear.”

This invitation-only fellowship draws on the expertise of leading CHROs, CEOs and board members and Spencer Stuart’s extraordinary understanding of what drives world-class CHRO performance. The 12-month program includes the four primary components listed below.

  • Leadership Retreat. A three-day intensive in-person kick-off retreat that incorporates themed, practitioner-led roundtable discussions, rigorous personal reflection and peer-to-peer dialogue.
  • Master Classes. Led by world-class business practitioners and industry experts, these intimate virtual gatherings held every other month are deep dives into specific dimensions of CHRO leadership and performance, such as succession planning, working with the board, culture, compensation and more.
  • Coaching and Leadership Assessment. Spencer Stuart’s executive coaches and assessment experts benchmark and provide ongoing actionable feedback on the transformative CHRO capabilities that drive long-term business results.
  • Tech-Enabled Peer Learning Groups. Regular opportunities for discussion, problem-solving and best-practice sharing in real time via online technology platforms.
When I watch new CHROs integrate outside-in perspectives, that’s when we see the needle move on business impact. The more proactive and engaged the CHRO is in their own performance acceleration, the greater their potential to deliver ongoing organizational value.”
