Karen Quint is an executive coach and board advisor in Spencer Stuart’s San Francisco office. With a proven track record for being a catalyst for success, Karen focuses on helping executives unlock their potential with the same authenticity, candor and care that accelerated her value as an executive recruiter for more than 35 years. She is also a seasoned member of the firm’s board practice where she focuses on leading searches for audit committee members and chairs, leveraging her deep network and knowledge of financial experts.
Consumer and financial expertise
- Karen has been with Spencer Stuart for more than 16 years and spent most of her time placing senior financial executives in the consumer, technology and financial services arenas, focusing on both large-cap and high growth private companies. Her recent clients include leading corporations in software, security, fintech, consumer tech, retail, restaurants, banking and brokerage.
- Karen has also helped to manage relationships with some of the firm’s largest private equity clients and led CFO and board work for their portfolio companies. She is a three-time winner of the firm’s prestigious Lou Rieger Quality Award.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Karen spent 13 years with another international search firm and six years with two boutique search firms on both the East and West coasts.
A native of Maine, Karen earned her B.A. degree in American studies from Connecticut College, where she served on the board of trustees for eleven years, the last three of which she served as vice chair. She earned her coaching certification through the Hudson Institute.
