Technology-forward human capital leader, ambassador of DE&I and people enthusiast

  • Theresa was the first head of human capital at Bregal Unternehmerkapital, where she implemented critical recruitment strategies for (and operationally executed) all C- and board-level hires across the portfolio, established value creation projects for people-related topics and led the digital transformation of HR processes. She also acted as head of the diversity, equity and inclusion committee at BU.
  • Prior to her time in the private equity sector, she spent 7 years at AlixPartners, where she built up and oversaw the global managing director recruiting as part of the partnership matters office — building a new practice and team from scratch, designing strategies and processes, achieving significant cost savings for the firm and acting as a key DEI driver.
  • Theresa started her career in research consulting and executive search in boutiques in the consumer and technology sector.

Theresa graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University and is proficient in German, English and Italian, enhancing her capability to engage with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
