- Matt has significant experience advising both public and private companies, with specific expertise recruiting finance talent for private equity and venture capital clients on the portfolio and fund level.
- Matt joined Spencer Stuart from the investment management division of Goldman Sachs, where he spent three years investing capital on behalf of the firm’s clients.
- Prior to Goldman Sachs, Matt was a vice president for a New York-based retained executive search firm. His work centered on assignments in the corporate finance and investment banking sectors. Matt began his career at GMMB, a strategic communications firm focused on political races and issue advocacy campaigns.
Matt holds an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Business with a concentration in finance and a B.A. in public policy studies from Duke University. He serves on the board of trustees of Head-Royce School in Oakland, CA.
