Marielle Paulsen Berdiin is a consultant within Spencer Stuart’s Consumer, Human Resources and Leadership Advisory Services practices, with a focus on larger listed corporations, private equity–owned companies and firms within professional services. Building on her experience leading Spencer Stuart’s Leadership Advisory Services Practice in the Nordic region from 2022 to 2024, she advises clients across topics of recruitment and the broader leadership agenda, using her experience and insight to advise and develop senior executives into sustainably leading high-performance teams toward long-term commercial impact.

  • In her time at Spencer Stuart, Marielle has delivered on a variety of Nordic and global mandates as an early member of our Nordic team, and as a key part of building the firm's business and brand on the market, as well as the establishment of the Oslo office.
  • She works closely with leading strategy, management consulting and advisory firms, contributing to professionalization of partner development and creating a tailored approach to critical leadership succession.
  • With a decade of experience within executive search and leadership advisory, Marielle previously worked for a boutique executive search firm in the Norwegian market, covering a broad variety of leadership roles and levels, across industries and functions, within both the public and private sector. Furthermore, she brings operational leadership experience, having held leadership roles for associate and analyst teams on both local and regional level.

Marielle graduated from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology with a master’s degree in organizational and occupational psychology as well as two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and sociology. She is certified in Hogan Assessment Suite Psychometrics and Executive Intelligence Assessment.
