Based in London, Manuel is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Private Equity Practice and Leadership Advisory Services team. He works with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to set leaders up for success, optimize team effectiveness and evaluate and evolve organizational culture so they can accelerate value creation particularly during situations of merger or acquisition. In addition, Manuel leads large-scale executive assessment and development programs, top team effectiveness interventions and organizational health/culture projects across different industry sectors globally.

- Previously at Spencer Stuart, Manuel led executive searches for C-suite and other top leadership roles as well as board recruitment for financial services firms.
- He co-led the creation of the German Directors’ Forum, the firm’s immersive corporate governance education program for newly elected non-executive board members.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Manuel worked as a graduate research assistant at Eberhard Karis University, after earning his undergraduate degree.
Manuel studied political science, American Studies, international politics and peace research at the University of Tübingen and Koç Üniversitesi in Istanbul, Turkey. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Besides his native German, Manuel is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish.
