Based in New York, Chris Uhrinek is a member of Spencer Stuart's Leadership Advisory Services practice, where he advises senior management teams on leadership and organizational effectiveness. He has more than a decade of experience designing and implementing performance interventions for large corporate and private equity clients, spanning strategic alignment, post-M&A integration, leadership assessment and development and top team effectiveness.
A seasoned leadership advisor with over a decade of consulting experience
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Chris was a partner at a global executive search firm. Most recently in Singapore, he was responsible for launching their consulting practice in the APAC region. He worked with clients across Asia and the Middle East to address leadership challenges and spoke frequently on agile leadership, managing disruption, and building the capabilities needed to enable digital transformation and innovation.
- Prior to that, Chris was a principal with a boutique strategy and leadership advisory firm with deep roots in decision sciences. During his time, he worked closely with senior management teams to drive scenario-based strategic planning initiatives that enable organizations to become more agile in times of uncertainty and identify the capabilities and investments needed for future success.
- Chris' earlier consulting career included time with PwC’s healthcare industries advisory practice where he focused on customer interaction strategy and operations.
- Chris served for nearly a decade as the president and chairman of the board of Minds Matter of Philadelphia, Inc., a non-profit organization helping high achieving high school students from low-income families achieve academic excellence and gain admissions to leading universities.
Chris earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in mechanical and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
