Allison Grover brings to her client work nearly two decades of financial services experience, spanning leveraged finance, capital markets, principal investing and risk management. Focused on driving client impact, Allison strives to forge deep, trust-based relationships with clients to solve their critical leadership needs. She is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services Practice in New York, where she focuses on investment banking, corporate banking and capital markets, as well as parts of the private capital space.
Deep expertise in banking and capital markets
- Before joining Spencer Stuart, Allison was co-head of the global banking and markets practice of a global executive search firm, where she focused her work on investment banking, capital markets and private capital.
- Allison spent the majority of her earlier career at Goldman Sachs. There, she advised investment banking clients on capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. She also held roles across the distressed and equities trading desks of the firm.
- Allison began her investment banking career at Morgan Stanley and worked as an associate at private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners.
Allison earned a B.A. (Honors) in business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Dedicated to living an active and healthy lifestyle, she serves as a trustee and treasurer of Wellness in the Schools (WITS), a national non-profit devoted to preventing obesity-related diseases in children. Allison lives in Manhattan and is a proud mother of two.
