Alfonso Mujica is the chairman of Spencer Stuart's Advisory Committee and a former consultant, office manager and regional manager for the firm. He has more than 25 years of experience as a board member and chairman of a range of industrial companies and organizations.

- Alfonso draws on his own leadership experience when providing strategic counsel to his clients, having served as CEO of both the Association of Pension Fund Administrators and Sodimac, the largest Chilean distributor of building materials, as well as managing director of H.Q. Centro de Negocios, and chief financial officer and partner of Aries Real Estate Company.
- Previously, he was chairman of the Chilean Chamber of Commerce, the Chilean Association of Christian Business Leaders (USEC), and Diprel, Chile's leading wholesaler of electrical materials. Alfonso is also the former chairman of the Port Authority of Valparaiso and the Chile Family Business Association. He is an honorary board member of the International Christian Association of Business Executives (UNIAPAC).
- Alfonso is committed to Chilean business and academic communities, having served as a board member of Universidad Diego Portales and as a professor of finance and business policy at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Alfonso is an industrial engineer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. Alfonso is also a certified director by the Institute of Directors of London. A native Spanish speaker, he is also fluent in English.
